Financial Manager Marcia Allen joined the firm in March of 2004. She provides accounting, financial and related administrative support services for our clients and the firm.

Marcia began her accounting career in the banking industry, serving as a Loan Accounting Supervisor/Banking Officer at First City National Bank and a Cost Accounting Supervisor/Banking Officer at MBank in Houston, Texas from 1983 to 1985. She continued her banking career in Atlanta at Fulton Federal Savings and Loan in Cost Accounting and at Bank South as a Cost Accounting Supervisor/Banking Officer. Marcia maintained her accounting career providing general bookkeeping and tax preparation services and serving as a personal accountant/assistant for high net worth clients and their estates from 1989 to present. She also worked as an internal auditor and office assistant for the Wakefield, Inc., a high-rise residential cooperative in Atlanta, Georgia in 2002. She also established and ran a family home daycare business for 10 years from 1989 to 1999. Because of her love and compassion for children and their families, Marcia continued her work with children by taking a position as the Children’s Ministry Resource Coordinator for Eastside Baptist Church from 1999 to 2002.

Marcia earned a B.A. in Business with a major in accounting from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, graduating in 1983. She has served in various volunteer leadership and support roles for community, youth and religious organizations.

Marcia lives with her loving husband, Steve Allen, and her three children, Christopher, Mary Ashley and Quintin in Marietta, Georgia. Marcia and Steve are also foster parents through FaithBridge Foster Care.
