At the Atlanta, Georgia, adoption and assisted reproductive technologies law firm of Claiborne, Outman & Surmay, we believe in the value of information. Our attorneys encourage prospective clients to come in for a comprehensive consultation that includes discussion about a number of options for building their families. Some clients are ready to move forward along a chosen path, such as foster parenting, adoption, or surrogacy. We pride ourselves on progressively working with a diverse clientele including non-traditional families as well as traditional ones. We are happy to help interracial couples, single parents, gay or lesbian couples, and a wide variety of age ranges fulfill their dreams of building their families through surrogacy. We are committed to education

At Claiborne, Outman & Surmay, we believe in the power of educating you about all of your family-building options. Prospective clients often have misconceptions based on inaccurate information. We see it as our duty to dispel myths and provide real, state-specific information so that our clients can make informed decisions about how to meet their goals. We offer education and guidance while taking time to listen to your concerns and develop a comprehensive plan created for your unique circumstances.

We are not a high-volume adoption law firm. Our attorneys have in-depth and personalized knowledge of adoption, assisted reproductive technologies, comprehensive estate planning, and the needs of families with special needs. Senior partner Jim Outman is an adoptive parent, as well as the parent of a child with Down syndrome. We never forget that our clients are people with very real emotions about adopting or having a child through assisted reproductive technologies methods. We offer education and guidance, but still take the time to listen to your concerns and develop a comprehensive plan made for your unique circumstances.

After you drive up to the private entrance of our townhouse-style office, we provide a comfortable environment for you and your family.
